No Pit Too Deep

“This is a powerful and moving story of two lives that have suffered the horrors and rejection caused by family breakdown and yet again and again found that the multicoloured grace of God is sufficient. This is not an easy read, it is a brutal warts and all testimony of sadness, rejection, betrayal and yet amazingly so full of hope and truth for anyone experiencing similar trials and temptations.”
Guy Miller, Apostolic Leader of the Commission network of Churches.

Our autobiography has now been published and is available directly from us priced at £8.99 including UK postage. If you would like to order a copy then please email us at and we will give you ordering details. It is also available on Amazon.

Our story is summed up by the Psalmist, when he writes these words in Psalm 40:

I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.

Based in Torquay, Devon, I produce mainly one-off pieces, specialising in table lamps built up from a selection of contrasting woods. Additionally I make bowls, lidded pots, vases, candlesticks and a lot more.

I have a wide selection of items available, some are listed on the For Sale pages.

Some examples of my woodturning are shown in the gallery pages. Please feel free to contact me about any aspect of woodturning via my contact page.

The winter storms of 2014 brought down a vast amount of trees; I was very fortunate to obtain some Araucaria araucana wood, or more commonly called monkey puzzle or Chilean pine. Unlike most other trees, the branches of this spectacular tree emerge in distinct tiers, with the darker core of each branch producing a striking contrast against the light trunk wood.
